Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator and VMC  Operator with 2 Month to 3 years of experience to join our team at Micro Turner Group. As a VMC Programmer And Operator, you will be responsible for programming and operating vertical machining centers (VMC) to produce high-quality precision parts. This is a full-time position based in Baddi Himachal, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• 12th , ITI , And Diploma Mechanical
• 2 Month to 3 years of experience in CNC and VMC  operation
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Good understanding of machining processes
• Knowledge of tooling and cutting parameters
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operator VMC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
• Conduct regular and troubleshoot any issues with the machines
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of the produced parts
• Monitor the production process and make any necessary adjustments
• Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols

The programmer is responsible for creating and modifying CNC programs that control the VMC’s operations. This involves using software like CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) to generate toolpaths, specify cutting parameters, and select appropriate cutting tools.

Selecting the right cutting tools, toolholders, and workholding fixtures based on the job requirements. This includes considering factors like material type, part geometry, and the desired surface finish.

Designing and setting up the workpiece on the VMC’s table or workholding device. This may involve creating custom fixtures and ensuring proper alignment and secure clamping.
