Job Title: Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative (Mechanical Focus)

Location: Yamunanagar

Summary: A driven and technically proficient individual with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of experience is sought for a Sales Engineer/Technical Sales Representative position. This role will focus on promoting and selling mechanical products/services within the Yamunanagar region. The successful candidate will leverage their technical knowledge to understand customer needs, provide effective solutions, and build strong relationships to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Yamunanagar market.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Present technical information and product demonstrations to potential clients, effectively communicating the value proposition.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and tenders, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, providing excellent customer service.
• Provide technical support and after-sales service to clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, marketing, etc.) to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate sales records and reports, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads.
• Travel within the Yamunanagar region to meet with clients and conduct site visits.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 years of experience in a related technical field (e.g., mechanical maintenance, production, or a previous sales role).
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical principles and applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Yamunanagar.
• Familiarity with CRM software (preferred).

Additional Skills (Advantageous):

• Previous experience in sales or marketing, particularly in a technical field.
• Knowledge of specific mechanical products or industries relevant to the company.
• Local market knowledge of Yamunanagar.
