Job Title: Production Planning and Control (PPC) Engineer

Location: Yamunanagar

Summary:

A highly motivated and detail-oriented PPC Engineer with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, and 2 years of experience is sought for a role in Yamunanagar. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling production activities to ensure efficient utilization of resources, timely delivery of finished goods, and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze production requirements based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and engineering specifications.
• Develop production plans and schedules that optimize resource allocation, lead times, and production costs.
• Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks or delays.
• Implement corrective actions to address production issues and ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare and maintain production documentation, including material requirements planning (MRP) and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Coordinate with various departments (e.g., engineering, procurement, quality control) to ensure smooth production flow.
• Track production metrics and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost savings.
• Maintain communication with customers regarding order status and delivery schedules.
• May be involved in inventory management and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 years of experience in Production Planning and Control (PPC) or a related manufacturing role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning principles.
• Proficiency in using production planning and scheduling software (e.g., MRP systems).  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
