CNC VMC Operator job

Machine Setup: Prepare and set up VMC/CNC machines for injection molding part production, ensuring proper tooling, workholding, and work offsets are in place.

Programming: Independently generate and edit G-code and M-code programs to accurately produce injection molding parts based on provided engineering drawings and specifications.

Tool Selection: Select appropriate cutting tools and toolholders based on part requirements and machine capabilities to achieve precise results.

Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of parts during the machining process, using precision measuring instruments, to maintain the required accuracy and quality standards.

Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with the machines, tools, or programs to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

Work Optimization: Continuously improve machining processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize production output.

Material Handling: Safely load and unload raw materials and finished parts from the machines while adhering to proper handling and safety protocols.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on VMC/CNC machines to ensure they are in optimal working condition.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others.
